This series of calendar pages set in the German language explores the figure in motion to celebrate the everyday activities that bring joy to each season.

I used gesture and composition to convey energy and playfulness, in combination with soft, pastel palettes developed through iterative color studies to reflect the unique mood of each month. The calendar format led me to consider the impact of these images in sequence, ensuring that each illustration inspires a distinctly cheerful energy while remaining cohesive as a group.

In addition to the composition of my illustrations, I developed a simple and friendly calendar format that would compliment the energy of the illustrated material through intentional choices in typeface and layout.
